Down at the Bamboo Club is a new exhibition devised by Picture This in Bristol. The works in the exhibition all respond to ideas of legacy and use strategies including re-enactment and community participation.

The exhibition takes its name from a legendary Bristol social club, and three of the works in the exhibition are commissions which look in particular at sites and events in Bristol’s past and the legacy that is created by communities today. These works – by Barby Asante, Mandy McIntosh and Mark Wilsher – were commissioned and produced by Picture This.
